Duties & Responsibilities
• Participate in internal project kick-off meetings with Estimation, Planning, QA/QC, EHSS, Procurement and Project Management teams. • Review the complete scope of work, drawings, equipment lists, specifications, job packages and client requirements. • Conduct detailed site visits and physically verify all assigned work locations before shutdown commencement. • Coordinate metal tagging, scaffolding, insulation removal, lifting requirements, crane selection and lifting-plan inputs. • Identify manpower, materials, tools, consumables, special equipment and access requirements for each job. • Identify delays, technical issues and site constraints and immediately report them to the Project Manager. • Prepare material, tools and consumable requisitions in coordination with Planning and Material Control. • Ensure availability of blinds, gaskets, valves, bolts, fittings and other required materials. • Lead supervisors, foremen, technicians and workers within the assigned plant area. • Supervise mechanical activities including line breaking, blinding, valve replacement, piping work, equipment opening, flange management, hydrotesting and reinstatement. • Supervise maintenance of heat exchangers, vessels, columns and other static and rotating equipment. • Coordinate daily with Planning, QA/QC, EHSS, Rigging, Scaffolding, Insulation, and client representatives. • Ensure strict compliance with approved EHSS plans, QA/QC plans, permits, method
Technical Skills
Ability to read isometric drawings, equipment drawings, P&IDs and job packages. Knowledge of heat exchangers, vessels, valves, piping, pumps, compressors and flange management. Strong site supervision and leadership skills. Ability to manage a multicultural workforce. Good in soft skills like Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint Good written and verbal communication skills for client communications. SECTION V: Required Experience and Education
Experience
Minimum] 5–8 years of experience in oil and gas, refinery, petrochemical or industrial maintenance projects. Minimum 3 years of direct shutdown, turnaround or plant maintenance experience. Strong experience in static equipment, rotary equipment and piping maintenance. Previous experience with Saudi Aramco, SABIC, SADARA or similar clients is preferred. Saudi Council of Engineers registration or eligibility is preferred.
