Position: Mechanical Construction Engineer
Qualification: BE/BTech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: A minimum 3 years of experience are required (oil and gas refinery-experienced candidates get prioritized).
Roles and responsibilities:
Single point of responsibility for site-related activities.
Execution of the MOC construction job as per the EPC schedule.
Ensure safety compliance as per prevailing HSEF procedures during construction work.
Ensure compliance with work procedures during construction.
Ensure the optimum utilization of P&M and free-issue materials (FIMs).
Should be able to workout field and shop fabrication requirements for piping and structural jobs.
I should be able to coordinate with the shop fabrication engineer to get fabricated items as per priority.
Loop file: mechanical clearance, testing, and handover.
Certification of RA bills.
Ensure compliance with the ITP's required for various stages of piping and structure fabrication job completion.
Co-ordinate with the project planner for regular communication of accurate site progress and holds, if any.
Co-ordinate with other stakeholder groups like O&M, civil, instrumentation, inspection, and electrical for site construction activities.
