If you are an Electronics Manufacturing Test Engineer seeking a valuable opportunity for professional growth and skill enhancement, Emerson presents an exciting position based in our Pune facility. As a Test Engineer, you will join a team dedicated to the development of innovative industrial automation products, introducing new technologies into the industrial sector.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Designing automated test systems utilizing LabVIEW and Test Stand.
- Working with team members to interpret schematics and implement testing solutions.
- Gaining an understanding of circuit design and making modifications to facilitate test configurations.
- Diagnosing and resolving issues in test systems to guarantee reliability and precision.
- Creating documentation for test procedures, outcomes, and system setups to ensure compliance and foster knowledge sharing.
- Contributing to continuous improvement efforts in test automation and hardware validation.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to meet overall system requirements in a cost-effective and high-quality manner.
- Formulating and executing electronic test plans for verification and validation purposes.
You are a proactive and technically proficient engineer who adeptly develops and implements test setups. REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience with relevant certifications.
- Over 5 years of pertinent professional experience.
- Proficient knowledge of electronic testing equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, etc.
- More than 5 years of expertise in basic analog and digital circuits, as well as industrial communication protocols (e.g., HART, SPI, UART, and Ethernet).
- Strong command of LabVIEW and Test Stand.
- Competent C# programming skills for tool and application development.
- Basic understanding of schematic interpretation for hardware designs.
- Fundamental grasp of layout design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging capabilities in both hardware and software environments.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for cross-disciplinary collaboration.
- Experience in a global engineering context.
- Familiarity with developing hardware for products that involve pneumatic actuator control valve interfaces is a plus.
- Significant experience with product life cycle management.
