Job Description
Manage the store activities to ensure timely availability of materials to the operations team, effectively oversee staff, and contribute to profitability by meeting business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Ensure proper inventory levels of materials and products to support operations, minimizing stockouts or excess inventory.
- Staff Management: Supervise store staff, including training, performance management, and scheduling to ensure efficient operation.
- Material Availability: Ensure materials are available to the operations team when required, facilitating smooth production and operations.
- Business Objective Achievement: Work towards achieving business objectives by meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) like cost reduction, efficient stock management, and timely deliveries.
- Profitability: Monitor and manage store operations to drive profitability by optimizing resources and reducing unnecessary costs.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inventory, materials, and stock movement. Prepare reports for senior management on store performance and material usage.
- Coordination: Work closely with other departments such as procurement, finance, and operations to align store management with company goals.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in store management or related field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and software.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to drive process improvements and optimize operational efficiency.
