Manager | SAP ABAP HANA |

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of SAP ABAP developers, providing mentorship, guidance, and technical leadership.
• Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of ABAP programs within the SAP HANA environment.
• Ensure the successful implementation of SAP S/4HANA and HANA-based solutions by leveraging ABAP programming expertise.
• Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Lead the development and optimization of ABAP code for performance, scalability, and reliability within the HANA environment.
• Oversee the integration of SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FICO) with SAP HANA using ABAP-based solutions.
• Implement best practices for ABAP programming in a HANA landscape, ensuring adherence to SAP development standards and guidelines.
• Manage and optimize the transport management process for ABAP developments in SAP HANA.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to ABAP code, HANA performance, and integrations.
• Oversee the migration of legacy SAP systems to SAP HANA and provide solutions for data migration.
• Monitor and ensure the efficient execution of ABAP programs, optimizing code where necessary for SAP HANA performance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP ABAP and HANA technologies, continuously improving team capabilities and technical knowledge.
• Act as a liaison between the technical team and business stakeholders, ensuring that development goals are aligned with business objectives.
• Manage the documentation of development processes, ensuring that code and solutions are well-documented for future reference and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Minimum of [X] years of hands-on experience with SAP ABAP programming.
• Extensive experience with SAP HANA, including development and optimization of ABAP code in a HANA environment.
• Proven experience in leading and managing a team of SAP ABAP developers.
• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA and HANA-specific development tools (e.g., HANA Studio, CDS Views).
• Experience with SAP Fiori and UI5 is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, SAP PI/PO, and integration technologies.
• Experience with performance tuning in SAP HANA and developing optimized ABAP programs for high-volume data processing.
• Strong understanding of the SAP landscape, including modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, and HR, and how ABAP integrates with these modules.

• Expert-level proficiency in ABAP programming and debugging techniques.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP HANA architecture and performance optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform and SAP Fiori for front-end development.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure on-time delivery.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to detail.

Preferred Experience:

• SAP ABAP Certification and/or SAP HANA Certification is preferred.
• Previous experience in managing SAP S/4HANA migration projects.
• Experience in working with Agile methodologies and project management.
• Familiarity with the SAP Solution Manager and change management processes.
• Knowledge of machine learning or artificial intelligence applications within the SAP ecosystem is a plus.
