Manager, DevSecOps Engineer

We are seeking a Mid-Career DevSecOps Engineer with a focus on Microservices development using Microsoft technology (.NET Core). Expected experience and skills:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in software development using .NET Core and related technologies.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.
• Strong understanding of architectural style s for building web services like REST and SOAP.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as React or Angular.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure and AWS) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience implementing DevSecOps practices, including automated testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Proficient in programming languages such as C#, VB.net, JavaScript.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and best practices (OWASP, NIST, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines.
• Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices.
• Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture.
• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 8 to 10 years of minimum experience.
• Hands on experience with UNIX and Windows environments.
• Ability to coach/mentor junior engineers.
• Ability to work in highly collaborative and cross functional team.
• Understanding of authentication technologies: SAML, OpenID connect, OAuth/OIDC, WS-FED authentication as well as other authentication methods.
• Public Cloud AWS.
• Provide hyper care and transitional support for applications onboarding and migration activities.
• Strong understanding of business processes, internal controls, risk management, IT controls and standards.
• Ability to communicate with the teams and stakeholders on all aspects of the product and implementation at a technical and functional level.
• Strong analytical skills.
• The ability to collaborate and create open working relationships with internal and external teams, vendors, stakeholders, and product owners.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are a plus.
• Experience with AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and IAM.
• Familiarity with GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Trello.
