Manager- CLS

Key Deliverables:

• Manage end-to-end operations of the Cable Landing Station (CLS), ensuring maximum uptime of submarine, land cable, and associated transmission equipment.
• Maintain spares and inventory for CLS transmission systems, land cables, and accessories; ensure readiness for preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Supervise circuit testing and coordination for smooth handover to ITMC and backhaul; maintain network-wise connectivity records.
• Ensure strict adherence to CLS quality systems, including audit preparedness, process documentation, and equipment calibration.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team by promoting feedback culture, process ownership, and continuous service improvement.

Role Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with NOC/ITMC for circuit provisioning and troubleshooting; ensure delivery targets and uptime SLAs are met.
• Ensure compliance with consortium guidelines and JSMD requirements for submarine cable O&M.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules, identify risks, and implement measures for optimal network reliability.
• Drive process excellence and audit compliance for all CLS-related activities.
• Support leadership with network performance reports and participate in strategic operations discussions.
