Developing and maintaining financial models that incorporate climate risk, using industry KPIs, climate-related data.
Develop and maintain industry-level climate transition risk models. Analyze potential financial and operational impacts of climate-related transition risks across industries.
Understand modelling and scenarios such as RCPs, SSPs and NGFS scenarios. Conduct scenario analysis to evaluate the effects of different transition pathways on operations, revenue, and asset valuations.
Understanding of climate physical risk hazards such as flood, cyclone, drought, wildfire, extreme temperature etc.
Understanding PCAF financed emission calculations to help banks quantify their Scope 3 emissions.
Monitor latest regulatory updates and advancements in the climate sector.
Participation in seminars/conferences and writing articles etc. to showcase thought leadership on industry trends, policy developments, and emerging technologies related to climate change and the low-carbon transition.
Engage with regulators and partners for creating value and alignment with strategic goals.
Ability to deliver high impact presentations to clients and internal committees.
Develop proposals and support in business development activities.
Travel to client sites as per need and requirement.
