Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Major Incident Manager to manage and coordinate major incidents for our leading client, Bluescope Steel Limited. The role involves overseeing incident resolution, ensuring minimal business impact, and maintaining communication across global teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage major incidents, ensuring rapid resolution and minimizing business disruption.
  • Coordinate with global teams and stakeholders to facilitate timely incident management.
  • Follow established processes for incident tracking, escalation, and documentation.
  • Maintain communication with business and technical teams during major incidents.
  • Identify trends and implement improvements to prevent recurrence of major incidents.
  • Ensure adherence to R2D2 Global Interfaces and organizational incident management standards.

Primary Skills (Must-Have):

  • Proven experience as a Major Incident Manager or in a similar ITIL-based incident management role.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL processes, incident management, and escalation procedures.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in an offshore setup with global teams.
