Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all preventive and corrective maintenance activities for electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and other facility systems.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime of equipment and infrastructure.
- Supervise, mentor, and coordinate a team of technicians and maintenance staff.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment, machinery, and infrastructure to identify potential issues and take corrective actions proactively.
- Plan and manage maintenance budgets, procurement of spare parts, and inventory control of maintenance materials.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, company policies, and local statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for specialized maintenance work.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance work, service reports, and compliance documentation.
- Suggest and implement improvements in systems, processes, and equipment to increase efficiency and reduce operational risks.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
Requirements:
- Education: Diploma, ITI, or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Facility Management or related field.
- Experience: 7–8 years of hands-on experience in maintenance management, preferably in industrial, commercial, or manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software (CMMS) and basic computer skills (Excel, reporting tools).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols, compliance standards, and risk management.
- Ability to work independently and make strategic maintenance decisions.
