Job Title- Mainframe Production Support

Role Summary:

This is a Level 2 Mainframe Production Support role for the AFS account, focused on off-hours operational support, batch processing, job failure resolution, monitoring, and file transmission support. This is not a development role.

Primary Skills:

• z/OS, JCL, TSO/ISPF
• Batch job processing and scheduling
• Job abend analysis and resolution
• GDG/DSN dataset management
• FTP/SFTP file transfer support

Secondary Skills:

• COBOL reading/debugging
• CICS basics
• Micro Focus Enterprise Server
• Windows/Linux navigation
• 
  

Tools & Process:

• Monitoring tools (SolarWinds, ManageEngine)
• JIRA / Incident management tools
• SLA-based production support
