Experience: 5 -8 Years
Application Development
- Design, develop, and enhance applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, and related mainframe technologies.
- Develop and optimize batch and online processing systems.
- Review and analyze functional requirements to create technical specifications.
2. Maintenance & Production Support
- Troubleshoot production incidents, investigate abends, and provide timely resolutions.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes.
- Monitor batch job performance and ensure SLA compliance.
3. System Analysis & Technical Design
- Work closely with business analysts to convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Perform impact analysis for system changes, upgrades, and enhancements.
4. Database & Data Management
- Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for DB2 databases.
- Work with VSAM datasets, file handling, and data transformation tasks.
