Mainframe Developer

• Develop, maintain, and support mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and DB2.

• Work on batch processing jobs and ensure efficient execution of mainframe programs.

• Design and develop DB2 SQL queries, cursors, and stored procedures.

• Handle CICS screen development and transaction processing requirements.

• Perform data sorting and processing using SORT utilities within JCL and programs.

• Use mainframe tools such as FileAid, SPUFI, Changeman, and TSO/ISPF for development and debugging.

• Analyze and resolve production issues in mainframe environments.

• Work on VSAM file handling and database management tasks.

• Ensure smooth job scheduling, execution, and monitoring in mainframe systems.

• Collaborate with teams for system enhancements and maintenance activities.
