Job Description
Job Overview:
- We are in search of a proficient Senior Associate Consultant with practical experience in Magnolia CMS to aid in the development, customization, and maintenance of enterprise-level digital experience platforms.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Magnolia architecture, content management, and integration processes, collaborating closely with both technical and business stakeholders.
Primary Duties:
- Develop, customize, and maintain web solutions utilizing Magnolia CMS.
- Configure and manage both Magnolia Author and Public instances.
- Design and implement Light Modules, templates, components, dialogs, and content applications.
- Create custom modules using Java and integrate Magnolia with external systems via REST APIs.
- Assist in content modeling, multi-site management, and digital asset management (DAM) integrations.
- Work alongside frontend teams to integrate Magnolia with React, Angular, or Vue.js applications.
- Engage in technical design discussions, offering solutions that meet business requirements.
- Support deployment automation, continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes, and cloud-based implementations.
- Diagnose and resolve production issues while optimizing platform performance.
- Contribute to application documentation, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices.
Technical Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of overall experience in web content management or digital experience platforms.
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Magnolia CMS.
- Strong knowledge of Magnolia architecture, content repositories, and the authoring framework.
- Experience with Magnolia Light Modules, templating, and component development.
- Practical experience in Java, JCR, Freemarker, and REST API integrations.
- Familiarity with Magnolia’s REST and GraphQL capabilities.
- Experience with headless or hybrid CMS architectures.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Understanding of Git, Maven, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Knowledge of content modeling, multi-site implementations, and personalization capabilities.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of DAM integrations and enterprise content management ecosystems.
- Exposure to digital transformation or CMS modernization projects.
