Job Description
- Should be able to understand all the compliance requirements for Export Oriented Units (EOU), Special Economic Zones (SEZ), and Domestic Tariff Area (DTA).
- Should be well-versed with Reserve Bank of India (RBI) compliance to support Export Data Processing and Monitoring System (EDPMS)/Import Data Processing and Monitoring System (IDPMS) of the Entity.
- Preparation of Application and Obtaining Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Status.
- Renewal of Registration-cum-Membership Certificates (RCMCs), updating of Importer-Exporter Code (IEC), and obtaining Status Holder Certificates.
- Obtaining Incentives from the Government.
- Obtain Duty Drawback and ensure its compliances.
- Support in obtaining Preferential/Non-preferential Certificates of Origin (COO).
- Good knowledge and well-versed in Import and Export clearance processes.
- Good understanding of the Classification of products, norms, and regulations.
- Represent with Government Departments for any Litigation Closures related to compliance operations.
- Able to reply and respond to Notices and file appeals, etc.
- Support in Audits, both Internal and External (from Government offices).
- Good Knowledge of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) to review their applicability and support business with FTA utilization.
- Knowledge of the various programs under the Foreign Trade Policy and Procedures.
- Review and ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are updated to capture Trade Compliance regulations and can be used as a ready reckoner.
- Support Post Clearance Customs audits for the Site and ensure all documents are reviewed and submitted on time.
- Knowledge of ERP or SAP is preferred. Good Analytical skills with a flair for Digitization and MIS reporting tools like Tableau or Power BI, etc.
