We are seeking a LLM Scientist to advance and fine-tune AI models, focusing specifically on large language models to drive innovation and create generative AI applications.

In your role as a LLM Scientist, you will harness Large Language Models (LLMs) and advanced prompt techniques to address Generative AI (GenAI) use cases. As a key member of the Data Science team, you will contribute to delivering measurable business value by enhancing existing workflows through GenAI and rolling out new GenAI applications, substantiating their effectiveness with solid reasoning and evidence. This role involves researching, testing, assessing, and implementing various aspects within the GenAI realm, including LLMs, prompt frameworks, prompt strategies, and other innovative complementary techniques. You will collaborate with Product teams and fellow Data Scientists to swiftly innovate, deploy, and iterate on these solutions to meet business objectives, ultimately driving revenue growth and minimizing operational costs.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance high-quality prompts for GenAI applications
• Conduct systematic evaluations of prompts and LLMs across various use cases
• Suggest methodologies for measuring the performance and success of prompts
• Identify and explore methodologies, propose and implement applications utilizing GenAI capabilities to fulfill business requirements, such as LLM agents and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Work in tandem with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers for the development and rollout of GenAI applications
• Clearly communicate the capabilities, strengths, and limitations of GenAI technologies to stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in GenAI (particularly LLMs), both in academia and industry, including both closed-source and open-source models

Your Profile

• Robust mathematical, statistical, or data science foundation
• Deep understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering methodologies, GenAI technologies, and frameworks
• Genuine interest in the development of GenAI models and applications
• Hands-on experience with machine learning, predictive analytics, and statistical modeling is a plus
• Flexible and responsive to the evolving landscape of GenAI, with the ability to anticipate implications
• Capable of managing project tasks independently from start to finish
• Proficient in Python, showcasing strong coding practices within the GenAI domain, including prompt libraries and template reusability
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
