Key Responsibilities

• Administer and manage Oracle VM (OVM) environments
• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle Linux systems
• Implement and follow best practices for system administration and performance optimization
• Manage storage using LVM and configure file systems
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability
• Configure and maintain services such as NFS and Samba servers
• Perform system patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting
• Automate administrative tasks using shell scripting and tools like Ansible
• Manage system security, access control, and compliance
• Work with monitoring tools like Nagios
• Support clustering environments such as Veritas Cluster Server
• Collaborate with teams and provide technical leadership where required
