Job description

Position: Executive / Senior Executive Legal (Non-Litigation)

Experience: Minimum 2-3 years

Education: LLB from a reputed university with a strong academic record

Location: Hyderabad

Reporting : AGM-Legal

Key Responsibilities

1. Contracts Management

• Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including vendor agreements, service agreements, NDAs, distributor agreements, and other commercial contracts.
• Ensure contracts comply with legal, regulatory, and internal corporate policies.
• Maintain a contracts repository and track key deliverables, obligations, and renewal deadlines.
• Assist in contract risk assessment.

2. Compliance & Regulatory Affairs

• Assist in compliance management
• Exposure to compliance management tools to track, monitor, and report on regulatory compliance
• Support in compliance training and awareness programs for internal stakeholders.

3. Trademarks & Intellectual Property

• Assist in trademark registrations, renewals, oppositions.
• Conduct due diligence for brand protection and legal risk assessment in marketing and advertising activities.

4. Conduct legal research on evolving laws, regulations, and judicial precedents for providing legal opinions, contract drafting impacting business operations

Key Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of contract law, corporate laws, and compliance frameworks
• Experience in drafting and vetting commercial contracts
• Familiarity with regulatory filings and compliance requirements
• Understanding of intellectual property laws, particularly trademarks
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in legal roles within sizable corporations or reputed law firms
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional business environment
