Lead Software Engineer (API Platform)

In This Role, You Will:

• Design, develop, and maintain the core API framework and developer tools
• Define and implement API governance standards to ensure consistency, quality, and security
• Build and enhance the developer portal, focusing on intuitive experiences and high-quality documentation
• Create and maintain public-facing SDKs
• Build Internet-scale applications focusing on performance, reliability, and scalability
• Learn and implement Microservices Architecture and robust RESTful APIs
• Mentor and support peers to enhance team success

Here's What You Need:

• 7–9 years of overall development experience, including object-oriented programming in Java
• Hands-on experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs with strong knowledge of OpenAPI and JSONSchema
• Experience with React and Next.js is a big plus
• Experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, Redis, or similar NoSQL tech
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud; Docker/container experience is highly desirable
