In This Role, You Will:
- Design, develop, and maintain the core API framework and developer tools
- Define and implement API governance standards to ensure consistency, quality, and security
- Build and enhance the developer portal, focusing on intuitive experiences and high-quality documentation
- Create and maintain public-facing SDKs
- Build Internet-scale applications focusing on performance, reliability, and scalability
- Learn and implement Microservices Architecture and robust RESTful APIs
- Mentor and support peers to enhance team success
Here's What You Need:
- 7–9 years of overall development experience, including object-oriented programming in Java
- Hands-on experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs with strong knowledge of OpenAPI and JSONSchema
- Experience with React and Next.js is a big plus
- Experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, Redis, or similar NoSQL tech
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud; Docker/container experience is highly desirable
