Lead/ Senior Lead Engineer - Layer 2/ Layer 3 Developer

Key Deliverables

• Develop and debug L2/L3 protocols (VLAN, STP, VXLAN, BGP, etc.)
• Work with CISCO OS (IOS, IOS-XE, NX-OS) for protocol development
• Implement and maintain multi-threading and socket programming
• Enhance software architecture for L2/L3 components
• Contribute to debugging and fixing protocol-related bugs

Role Responsibilities

• Design and develop software solutions for L2/L3 networking protocols
• Work with data structures and ensure performance optimizations
• Collaborate with teams on the development of protocols like BGP, OSPF, and MPLS
• Gain hands-on experience with SONIC NOS and programmable packet pipelines
