Lead LIMS Consultant

Job Overview:

• We are on the lookout for a skilled Senior LIMS Consultant Lead with 9 to 14 years of specialized experience in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), including platforms such as LabWare, LabVantage, and STARLIMS.
• The successful candidate will spearhead LIMS implementation, enhancement, migration, validation, integration, and support initiatives, working closely with business stakeholders, laboratory teams, and technical groups.

Primary Duties:

• Extensive knowledge and experience with LIMS, specifically LabWare, LabVantage, and STARLIMS.
• Proficient in LIMS architecture, configuration, customization, and administration.
• Experience managing end-to-end LIMS implementation and upgrade projects.
• Solid understanding of laboratory operations, sample management, and quality assurance processes.
• Proficient in SQL, Oracle, SQL Server, and database management practices.
• Practical experience with instrument integration and middleware solutions.
• Familiar with GxP, GMP, GLP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and validation protocols.
• Experience in integrating systems with ERP, ELN, MES, and other enterprise applications.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management and client-facing interactions.
• Proven leadership abilities in team management and mentoring junior consultants.

Technical Expectations:

• Lead projects involving LIMS implementation, migration, upgrades, and ongoing support.
• Collect business requirements and outline technical solutions accordingly.
• Design, configure, and customize workflows and functionalities within LIMS.
• Manage system integrations with laboratory instruments and enterprise systems.
• Develop and evaluate validation documentation, including URS, FS, DS, IQ, OQ, PQ, and test scripts.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and quality standards.
• Oversee project delivery timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication.
• Offer technical leadership and support to project teams.
• Address production issues and promote continuous improvement efforts.
• Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer for users.

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience in the Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemical, or Healthcare sectors.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in global customer engagement and delivery models.
