Lead GCP Data Engineer with AI (US Healthcare) - Immediate Joiner

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Lead GCP Data Engineer with AI & US Healthcare to design, build, and scale modern data platforms on Google Cloud. The ideal candidate will bring 9–12 years of experience, strong data engineering expertise, and proven leadership capabilities, along with a mandatory background in the US Healthcare domain.

Experience in Provider Credentialing (enrolment, licensing, compliance workflows) will be considered a strong advantage.

Additionally, the role requires hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (Gemini, ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, Cursor, etc.) to drive efficiency, automation, and high-quality code delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable data platforms on GCP
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to data engineering teams
• Build, optimize, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for healthcare data processing
• Design and manage data models for analytics, reporting, and regulatory compliance
• Process and integrate large-scale US healthcare datasets across multiple systems
• Ensure high-quality data integration, transformation, and validation aligned with healthcare standards
• Implement data quality frameworks, audit mechanisms, and validation pipelines
• Drive adoption of AI-powered coding tools to improve development productivity and code quality
• Collaborate with business, compliance, and healthcare stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions
• Optimize BigQuery performance and manage cloud costs efficiently
• Establish CI/CD pipelines, DataOps practices, and monitoring frameworks
• Lead migration and modernization initiatives from legacy systems (e.g., Teradata) to GCP
• Ensure adherence to data security, governance, and HIPAA compliance requirements
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for pipelines, architectures, and workflows

Required Skills

Data Engineering & GCP

• Strong expertise in ETL/ELT development, advanced SQL, Python, and data warehousing concepts
• Hands-on experience with BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer

Healthcare Domain (Mandatory)

• Solid experience working with US Healthcare data (claims, member, provider, clinical, or enrollment data)
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance standards including HIPAA

AI & Modern Engineering

• Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools (Gemini, ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, Cursor, etc.)
• Ability to leverage AI for code generation, automation, optimization, and troubleshooting

DevOps & DataOps

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Monitoring and observability using Cloud Logging and Cloud Monitoring
• Strong understanding of security practices including IAM and data governance

Locations: Bangalore / Pune / Hyderabad / Chennai

Shift: 2 PM to 11 PM IST
