Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and periodically review the Fire Safety Management Plan and associated operational frameworks.
  • Define procedures, guidelines, and standards for fire safety operations across all sites.
  • Conduct fire risk assessments and ensure incorporation of findings into safety manuals and operational processes.
  • Identify appropriate mitigation measures for significant fire risks in coordination with stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations, statutory requirements, and directives from state fire authorities.
  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for all fire safety-related matters across the portfolio.
  • Coordinate and conduct campus evacuation drills and emergency preparedness exercises.
  • Ensure effective implementation and monitoring of fire safety systems, equipment, and protocols.
  • Investigate fire-related incidents, analyze root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain fire safety performance metrics and prepare periodic MIS reports for senior management.
  • Provide end-to-end support to internal and external stakeholders on fire safety matters.
  • Coordinate with other departments for execution of fire safety improvement projects and compliance upgrades.
  • Establish and maintain strong liaison with state fire services and regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure fire safety training programs are conducted for staff and stakeholders, including emergency response readiness.
  • Identify training needs and develop structured fire safety awareness and coaching programs.
  • Conduct inspections and audits to ensure adherence to fire safety standards across facilities.
  • Monitor daily fire safety operations and ensure timely reporting and issue resolution.
  • Present fire safety performance updates to senior management and client stakeholders.
  • Drive implementation of best practices, new technologies, and continuous improvement initiatives in fire safety.
  • Ensure documentation, records, and safety manuals are updated and maintained accurately.
  • Support organizational initiatives such as safety week, CSR, and employee awareness programs.
  • Ensure effective communication of fire safety updates, incidents, and compliance requirements across teams.
