Job Description
Overview
We are seeking experienced Civil, Structures, and Pipeline engineers with a strong background in the Water and Wastewater sector to help deliver major infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects, as well as utility frameworks. The role spans the full project lifecycle, from feasibility and concept design through detailed design and construction support. International experience is required, with primarily UK / Ireland experience preferred.
You will collaborate closely with clients, contractors, the Lead office outside India, and multidisciplinary engineering teams. You will take responsibility for technical delivery, coordinate complex interfaces, and deliver high-quality engineering solutions. The position also offers opportunities to lead projects and frameworks, mentor junior staff, and contribute to major UK water infrastructure programmes.
You will be a self-motivated and accountable professional with strong analytical abilities, stakeholder management skills, client-facing experience, and excellent communication. Chartered Engineer status, or a commitment to achieving Chartership, is advantageous.
Your Role
As a Civil/Structural Design/Pipeline Engineer, you will lead the design, review, and delivery of water, wastewater, and utility infrastructure projects. This includes water transmission pipelines, trunk mains, gravity sewers, pumping stations, reservoirs, detention tanks, storm overflow chambers, outfalls, headworks, treatment units, manholes, and associated civil and structural assets. You will produce practical, safe, and buildable engineering solutions by undertaking and reviewing civil and structural designs, calculations, specifications, and drawings in line with relevant standards and project requirements. You will manage multidisciplinary coordination across Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Process, Electrical, ICA, Geotechnical, and BIM teams, support projects through all design stages from concept to construction, and ensure designs meet programme, budget, safety, sustainability, and constructability objectives.
