Lead Engineer - Advanced Automation Testing

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer with proven experience in both manual and automation testing for enterprise web applications. The successful candidate will bring practical, hands-on skills in Python, Playwright, Behave (BDD), Azure DevOps, and CI/CD validation. This role focuses on maintaining application quality through thorough testing, building and enhancing automation frameworks, performing API validation, and supporting Agile delivery practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT support testing, including accessibility, responsive, and cross-browser testing.
• Design, develop, and maintain UI automation frameworks and automated test scripts using Python, Playwright, and Behave.
• Perform API testing and validate REST APIs using Postman.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test data, traceability matrices, and execution reports.
• Oversee the full defect lifecycle, including identification, logging, resolution, and closure.
• Use Azure DevOps Boards and Test Plans for test management, defect tracking, and sprint execution.
• Validate deployments and ensure CI/CD quality gates are met.
• Work with Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, and Azure Key Vault.
• Partner with developers, product owners, and cross-functional teams to resolve defects and improve overall product quality.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvement.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience with Azure DevOps test management and CI/CD validation.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
