Lead Designer - Bridge

We are currently seeking a Lead Designer – BIM to join our team in Bengaluru. In this position, you will support multi-disciplinary projects delivered offshore, producing high-quality design outputs for our international clients.

Your Role

• Create high-quality BIM models and detailed drawings for highway and railway bridge projects.
• Maintain compliance with technical quality standards across the entire design process.
• Ensure delivery of projects on time and within budget while preserving accuracy and efficiency.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with Canada-based clients, offering responsive, client-focused service.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit Structure, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
• Relevant experience in high-speed rail projects.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare detailed structural design drawings for a variety of bridge structure types across all project stages (from concept through commissioning).
• Proficiency in establishing Revit and CAD standards in consultation with clients.
• Expertise in producing drawing sheets from Revit 3D models.
• Knowledge of reinforcement detailing in both 2D and 3D environments according to project requirements.
• Ability to support the BIM Manager with the development and enforcement of BIM documentation, workflow procedures, and standards.
• Skilled in creating families for bridge and structural components as needed.
• Experience delivering technical training and mentoring junior technicians.
• Capability to work independently on smaller projects and lead technicians on larger projects.
• Strong coordination skills with technicians from other disciplines engaged in the project.
• Dedication to quality control during drawing production and adherence to company quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ability to assess, follow up, and organize meetings to clarify requests for information, ensuring the team has adequate data to proceed effectively.
  
  

About You

• 5 to 10 years of BIM experience after completing a Diploma / B.E in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Highly self-motivated and ambitious.
• Able to lead a small team and operate with minimal supervision.
• Committed to pursuing professional accreditation with an international body.
• Can adapt to different cultures and build strong client relationships.
• Shows excellent communication and collaboration skills
