Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accounting:
  • Review and oversee the accounting for Sales, Purchases, and Vendor Invoices, ensuring compliance with TDS and GST regulations.
  • Supervise and review accounting for Bank & Cash Transactions, including Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
  • Manage and review Employee Expense Claims, ensuring knowledge of perquisites and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Maintain knowledge of GL (General Ledger) Accounting, ensuring adherence to IGAAP and accounting principles.
  • Monitor and review entries related to Prepaid, Provisions for Expenses, Depreciation, and Forex.
  1. Tax Compliance:
  • Ensure timely TDS and GST payments and filing of returns.
  • Oversee and manage Advance Tax calculations.
  • Prepare and submit Management Information System (MIS) reports as required.
  1. Financial Statements:
  • Conduct GL cleanup to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial records.
  • Prepare basic schedules for financial statements (FS) and tax audits.
  • Generate and present MIS reports to track financial performance and compliance.
  1. Internal Coordination:
  • Coordinate effectively within internal teams to streamline accounting and financial processes.
  • Ensure proper communication between departments for seamless workflow.
  1. Client Coordination:
  • Handle routine and non-routine accounting and compliance matters with clients, ensuring they receive accurate and timely support.
  • Address client inquiries related to tax, accounting, and compliance issues.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's/Master's in any discipline.
  • Experience: 3-4 years of relevant experience in accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
  • Essential Skills:
  • Strong understanding of TDS, GST, and other tax compliance matters.
  • Proficient in financial reporting and the preparation of MIS.
  • Knowledge of IGAAP accounting principles and General Ledger accounting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage tasks with a focus on quality and detail.
