Job Description
- 15+ years of Operating System administration or equivalent experience required
- AIX SME
- UNIDATA SME
- MPE/iX Operating System
- Demonstrated experience in building, tuning, and administering AIX and POWERHA
- Developing Timefinder backup scripts
- HP-UX hands on experience as Secondary skillset will be added advantage
- Demonstrated experience in systems and database integration support from OS standpoint
- Experience with OS infrastructure supporting patient care, financial and administrative applications preferred
- Extensive experience migrating applications and data installations from other Unix platforms to AIX platform
- Extensive experience in virtualization and VIO servers, SEA, NPIV, SR-IOV etc.' to 'Extensive experience in virtualization and VIO servers, SEA, NPIV, SR-IOV, vNIC failover etc. Knowledge of 802.1Q encapsulation for VLAN tagging
- Extensive experience in Unix and Linux shell scripting

- Hardware migration from P6, P7 to P8 & P9
- Good experience in V2P and P2V
- POWERHA migration from 6.1 and 7.1 to 7.2
