L1 Production Support

The Group Technology and Operations (T&O) division is dedicated to providing the bank with a streamlined, agile, and resilient infrastructure, emphasizing productivity, quality, control, technology, workforce capability, and innovation. Within Group T&O, we oversee the majority of the Bank's operational workflows and strive to enhance the experience of our business partners through diverse banking delivery channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quickly resolve production incidents to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
• Establish controls and monitoring systems to ensure the smooth operation of production environments.
• Investigate and analyze the root causes of reported defects.
• Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across all divisions of the Bank, ensuring alignment with shared objectives and meeting the criteria and requirements of various business units.
• Contribute as a member of the development and implementation team, including collaboration with offshore teams, on assigned projects and IT initiatives.
• Engage with team members and other functional groups, including offshore teams.
• Participate in shadowing and training activities with colleagues.
• Comply with information control and security frameworks and procedures, including change management and incident management processes.
• Provide general administrative support to the team, including organizing meetings, facilitating knowledge transfer, and preparing activity reports.
• Exhibit functional expertise to ensure that solutions meet client objectives while adhering to industry best practices.
• Offer daily support for key treasury systems and initiatives.
• Efficiently prioritize and execute system enhancements and upgrades.
• Be available for extended hours, shifts, and weekends as necessary for production support.

Essential Skills Description:

• 2–5 years of experience in L1 production support for banking applications.
• Proficient in SQL and Linux environments.
• Experience with the Cloudera Data Platform.
• Familiarity with data technologies such as SQL, Hadoop, and Apache Spark.
• Experience with Apache Airflow and TWS Scheduler.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like ELK and Grafana.
• Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.
• Awareness of emerging technologies, standards, protocols, and tools pertinent to rapidly evolving digital landscapes.
• Proficient in digital technologies, automation, environment support, and key technology/vendor solutions.
