Junior Demand Analyst

• Receive requirements for setting up and maintaining product sku's within the forecasting tool
• Prepare statistical forecasts across the assigned portfolio s in an effort to help maintain a strong baseline forecast
• Use internal and external intelligence that will help make a prediction of demand for a tactical (1-6 months) and strategic forecast (7-24 rolling months)
• Establish a weekly process of using exception-based planning reports to adjust forecasts as necessary, holding to the thresholds of RB's Key Performance Indicators.
• Hold bi-weekly consensus meetings with respective Demand Planner/Jr Demand Planner to address any changes to the statistical models.
• Use the analytical, marketing, and sales data of an item/customer/brand to effectively estimate future product demands
• Generate forecast solutions for business partners and help train Demand Planning end users on the system and logic
• Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
• Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
• Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies

The experience were looking for:

• College Degree in related field
• Deep understanding of statistical algorithms
• Well versed in forecasting systems ( SAP, JDA, Excel, etc)
• A minimum of 1 years experience in a demand planning/forecasting role
