Duties and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a strong technical team member with extensive experience in Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence. The candidate will provide Jira SME support to the IT teams and be responsible for the installation, configuration, integration, and maintenance of Jira across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Jira SME support to the IT teams and stakeholders.
• Install, configure, and release complex Jira and Confluence changes across environments with thousands of end-users.
• Develop customizations using Jira Power Scripts (SIL Scripts) and/or Jira Groovy scripts (Script Runner scripts).
• Create, customize, and manage complex Jira workflows, schemes, custom fields, screens, notifications, and permissions.
• Install and configure key Jira plugins such as Tempo, Power Fields, and others.
• Set up and configure Jira Data Centre on AWS/Azure cloud.
• Work in Agile/Scrum teams and apply Agile principles.
• Provide strong communication skills and collaborate with senior management to present designs and demos to end customers.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and provide ongoing support.
• Evaluate and manage the usage of Atlassian add-ons to meet team and business needs.
• Create Jira projects, queries, and reports.
• Gather requirements, analyze impact, and implement solutions based on stakeholder feedback.
• Ensure ongoing maintenance and configuration updates to keep Jira and Confluence optimized.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Hands-on experience in Jira installation, configuration, integration, and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of Jira Power Scripts and Jira Groovy scripts (Script Runner).
• Experience creating and customizing Jira workflows, screens, fields, and permissions.
• Knowledge of Jira Datacentre setup and cloud configurations (AWS / Azure).
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Atlassian plugins like Tempo and Power Fields.
• Familiarity with creating technical documentation and user guides.
