Java Microservice Developer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead design, development, and deployment of cloud-native applications for Oracle ERP Financial Cloud.
• Build robust, scalable, and secure applications using modern Java-based microservices architecture.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Work on performance optimization, monitoring, and application security.
• Contribute to large-scale data and distributed storage systems using SQL or NoSQL databases (Oracle, MongoDB, etc.).
• Implement and manage containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes on any major cloud platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—Product Management, QA, and Architecture—across geographies to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Participate in migration projects, evaluate new technologies, and adopt efficient stacks for better scalability and performance.
• Drive automation, DevOps, and CI/CD initiatives for cloud application lifecycle management.
• Mentor junior engineers and enforce engineering excellence through code reviews and best practices.

Primary Skills Needed:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in software analysis, design, development, and troubleshooting.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java, including microservices development and deployment on cloud environments.
• Proficiency in building REST APIs using Java tech stack.
• Deep understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and any cloud provider (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Hands-on experience with performance tuning, security, and monitoring of cloud-based systems.
• Familiarity with large-scale distributed storage and database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka.
• Strong testing discipline and commitment to code quality.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
