Java Lead

Job Description:

• We are looking for a highly experienced Java Springboot Developer to join our organization as a Team Leader.
• In this Team Leader role, you will lead and mentor a group of Java Springboot Developers, overseeing the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of applications built with the Springboot framework.
• Your strong command of Java Springboot and related technologies will be essential to delivering high-quality solutions that align with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of Java Springboot Developers across the design, development, and maintenance of applications.
• Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to collect, interpret, and analyze requirements for Java Springboot applications.
• Design, develop, and enhance software solutions using Java Springboot, including Microservices, MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
• Write efficient, well-structured Java code to implement business logic and required functionality.
• Conduct unit testing and debugging activities to confirm application quality and reliability.
• Maintain and improve existing Java Springboot applications by diagnosing issues, implementing bug fixes, and optimizing performance.
• Collaborate with other developers, database administrators, and system administrators to integrate Java Springboot applications with other systems and databases.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including system design materials, coding standards, and user manuals.
• Stay current with the latest Java Springboot technologies and industry trends, and propose enhancements or alternative solutions to improve system performance and efficiency.
• Work with cross-functional teams to assist with system integration, data migration, and software deployment activities.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
• Proactively identify and address potential risks or issues affecting Java Springboot applications, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Provide leadership and direction to the team while fostering a positive and productive working environment.
• Manage team workload and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members and deliver consistent feedback.
• Assess the team’s strengths and weaknesses and create opportunities for professional growth.

Technical Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Java Springboot Developer with at least 3 years of team handling experience
• Strong understanding of Java programming concepts including object oriented programming data structures and algorithms
• Proficiency in Springboot framework including Microservices MVC Spring Data and Spring Security
• Extensive experience with Java development tools such as Eclipse and IntelliJ IDEA
• Deep familiarity with relational databases particularly MySQL and PostgreSQL
• Expert knowledge of Java performance tuning and optimization techniques
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non technical stakeholders
• Detail oriented with a commitment to delivering high quality software solutions
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of developers

• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform
• Familiar with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
