Java + API Automation

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for APIs and backend systems using Java
• Implement API test automation using tools like Rest Assured or Karate
• Automate microservices testing and backend functionality
• Develop BDD-style automated tests using Cucumber
• Create and maintain test suites using TestNG and Selenium for web applications
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate automation tests in CI/CD pipelines using Git and Jenkins
• Track defects and issues using Jira and support QA processes and methodologies
• Perform database validation and testing using SQL / NoSQL knowledge
• Stay up-to-date with QA tools, processes, and best practices to improve automation efficiency
