Roles & Responsibilities

• Collaborating with business, functional partners and technology leadership in defining features and specifying requirements
• Liaising with different teams and stakeholders to ensure technical implementation is in line with business goal
• Ensuring high level of performance, availability, sustainability and security of the system
• Supporting executing team with resolution for roadblocks and interdependencies

Experience and Skills

• Qualification: B.E/ B.S.C/ B.C.A in IT/Computers or related field
• Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in Java/J2EE
• Experience working on Java / J2ee based enterprise solutions
• Must have experience on Apache SOLR/ Elastic Search
• Experience in full-text search, hit highlighting, faceted search, real-time indexing, dynamic clustering, database integration using Solr or Elastic search engine
• Knowledge of Lucene Java search library at its core for full-text indexing and search, and experience on  REST-like HTTP/XML and JSON APIs
• Proficient with Linux environment
• Nice to have experience in NO SQL database
• Experience of software engineering process and design patterns with a background of programming and development.
• Familiarity with Agile project methodologies.
