ITI Welder

Responsibilities:

• Fabrication and assembly: Fuse metal parts using various welding techniques, following blueprints and engineering drawings. 
• Preparation: Cut, grind, and clean metal surfaces. Position, align, and clamp metal pieces according to specifications. 
• Inspection and quality control: Inspect completed welds to ensure they are free of defects and meet quality standards and specifications. 
• Equipment operation: Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, torches, and various hand tools. 
• Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate welding equipment and tools, and ensure a clean work area. 
• Safety: Follow strict safety protocols, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensure work areas are properly ventilated.
