The Apple Mobile Messaging Apps team is seeking a iOS Engineer to provide great user experiences for our customers who are seeking to purchase or learn more about our products. Come help us build a shopping experience that only Apple could provide. Experience building and shipping iOS applications is required. You will work with versatile engineers in a dynamic, technically demanding environment. You ll be expected to demonstrate creativity in problem solving with the ability to think quickly to come up with solution in time-condensed situations. You should be self-motivated and passionate about driving forward the customer experience with an eye for detail. We promote the ability for you to experiment with new Apple technologies that can have a strong impact on the applications our team produce
- You will collaborate with many other group s internal team to deliver world-class products in an exciting fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with peers on technical design, work estimation and implementation of new features.
- Work with project managers and technical teams, in a multi-functional environment, to implement quality products that meet the business goals.
- Collaborate with other engineers on code reviews, internal infrastructure, and process enhancements.
- Continually improving software development processes and practices.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1-2 Years experience building shipping iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C.
- Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, enterprise architecture and software engineering principles
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to SwiftUI Accessibility
- Excellent debugging and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills, for collaborating across many participating teams and a strong sense of project ownership
- Commitment to staying updated with the latest advancements iOS, and willingness to learn new tools and technologies as needed.
