IOS Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Build a framework to support multiple iOS apps with maximum code reuse and scalable platform.
• Design, develop, deploy, test, and maintain iPhone apps using Swift and iOS SDK (UIKit, Cocoa Touch, Core Data, Core Location, etc.).
• Optimize app performance, including memory, network, and responsiveness.
• Conduct strong R&D efforts to build new proof‑of‑concepts for business initiatives and stay up to date with mobile technology trends.
• Work directly with product managers, designers, and developers to conceptualize, build, test and realize products.
• Build prototypes at tech scoping stage and develop interfaces with usability in focus.
• Debug and optimize apps, and oversee post‑launch support, updates and bug fixes.
• Develop sound OO design and programming skills in Swift, understand HTTP/TCP‑IP, data caching and synchronization.
• Lead continuous improvement of codebase and mentor peers on best practices and design patterns.

Requirements:

• Strong object‑oriented design and programming skills in Swift.
• Familiarity with iOS SDK frameworks including UIKit, Cocoa Touch, Core Data, Core Location, etc.
• Experience with Xcode and iOS build/deployment workflow.
• Good understanding of design patterns, debugging, optimization and networking (HTTP, TCP/IP).
• Conceptual knowledge of data caching, synchronization and offline data handling.
• Ability to build and maintain reusable components and frameworks.
• Excellent collaboration with designers and product teams, and strong usability focus.
