IOS Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Software Development and Delivery:

• Develop, test, and maintain native iOS applications.
• Deliver apps on schedule, ensuring completion of all required checklists.
• Submit deliverables and change requests within defined timelines.

Product Knowledge and Feature Implementation:

• Gain deep understanding of products and their workflows.
• Stay updated with Shopify-related updates and new features.
• Implement new app features as per requirements, adhering to specifications.

Client Interaction and Communication:

• Engage with clients, responding to queries within 15 minutes.
• Handle client suggestions for usability improvements and counts.

Code Quality and Development Practices:

• Focus on core development with minimal third-party library dependency.
• Write clean, centralized, object-oriented code to improve maintainability and reuse.
• Ensure code is well-commented, crash-free, and avoids deprecated functions.

Project Management and Reporting:

• Participate in sprint planning and manage tasks in JIRA with proper estimation and tracking.
• Provide weekly and monthly reporting of development hours and productivity.
• Track and report junior developers' progress when applicable.

Quality Assurance and Code Review:

• Conduct thorough code reviews and document integrations.
• Ensure integration sprints are completed on time and meet quality standards.

Knowledge Sharing and Continuous Learning:

• Share learnings about coding frameworks and new technologies with the team.
• Report potential issues and mistakes promptly to team leads.

Time Management and Task Efficiency:

• Manage tasks effectively to meet deadlines with accurate time tracking.
• Respond promptly to internal queries and handle customization requests on time.

Requirements:

• 0-1 years of experience in native iOS development.
• Proficiency in Objective-C, Swift, and Cocoa Touch.
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming principles.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, XCode, Cocoa framework, CoreData, and SQLite.
• Experience with JSON, XML, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in version control using Git (GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket).
• Understanding of third-party libraries and APIs.
• Strong work ethic and self-management skills.
• App development experience is a plus.
