ABOUT THE COMPANY
A leading Malaysia-based specialty manufacturer of clean room and industrial gloves supplying the semiconductor, pharmaceutical, medical device, and precision manufacturing industries globally. Export-oriented business with established relationships with Fortune 500 manufacturers across the US, Europe, and Asia. The organisation competes on product quality, technical specification compliance, and clean room standards.
ABOUT THE ROLE
A senior international sales leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth across assigned geographies and end-market segments. The role combines new customer acquisition with strategic account management across the US, European, and Asian markets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Drive international market penetration across assigned geographies with emphasis on new customer acquisition and increasing share-of-wallet with existing accounts
2. Develop and execute a structured International Sales Plan by key account, geography, and product category with monthly monitoring and adjustment
3. Build deep understanding of customers' businesses and curate clean room glove solutions to win and retain business
4. Manage and deepen relationships with top-tier international accounts; design loyalty and retention programmes to enhance customer stickiness
5. Deliver exceptional customer experience by collaborating with Production Planning, Customer Care, Logistics, and Quality teams
6. Monitor KPIs and report year-on-year performance against SLAs and targets to external stakeholders including C-suite contacts
7. Represent the organisation at customer meetings, factory visits, and trade events across Asia and globally
YOU ARE THE RIGHT CANDIDATE IF YOU
• Have 10+ years of international B2B sales experience with at least 5 years managing customers in the US, Europe, and Asia markets
• Have directly managed multi-million-dollar international B2B opportunities with long sales cycles and extended commercial negotiations
• Have managed large strategic accounts with annual revenues exceeding USD 1 million
• Have experience in the glove industry, medical devices, specialty chemicals, or related manufacturing sectors
• Can present confidently to C-suite and senior procurement stakeholders
• Hold a degree in Science, Engineering, or Business — Science or Engineering preferred
• Are based in or willing to relocate to Malaysia
• Have strong command of written and spoken English; Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantage given the role's Asia market focus
WHAT SETS A STRONG CANDIDATE APART
• Direct experience selling to semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or medical device manufacturers
• Familiarity with clean room standards and contamination control requirements
• Existing network among global industrial product manufacturers in the US, Europe, or Asia
• Prior experience at a Malaysian or regional specialty manufacturing company in an international sales role
