Interior Draftsman

We are looking for a skilled Interior Draftsman with 3–5 years of relevant experience to prepare detailed interior drawings and technical documentation for government building projects. The ideal candidate should have strong AutoCAD skills, a good understanding of interior materials and detailing, and the ability to produce accurate, execution-ready drawings.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed interior working drawings for government buildings and other assigned projects.

Develop furniture layouts, false ceiling plans, flooring layouts, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings.

Prepare interior detailing drawings for furniture, partitions, wall panelling, joinery, and other interior elements.

Develop material specifications and coordinate material details with the design team.

Ensure all drawings are accurate, coordinated, and ready for site execution.

Coordinate interior drawings with architectural, electrical, lighting, HVAC, and other MEP services.

Revise drawings based on design changes, client feedback, and site requirements.

Coordinate with architects, interior designers, consultants, and site execution teams.

Maintain drawing standards and ensure timely submission of deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications

3–5 years of relevant experience in interior drafting.

AutoCAD proficiency is mandatory.

Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.

Knowledge of SketchUp and/or Revit.

Strong understanding of interior materials, finishes, and construction detailing.

Experience preparing furniture layouts, false ceiling plans, sections, elevations, and execution drawings.

Ability to interpret design concepts and convert them into detailed technical drawings.

Good attention to detail and the ability to meet project deadlines.
