Your Role And Responsibilities

In the role of Infrastructure Specialist for Cloud Platforms, you will be responsible for managing and deploying infrastructure solutions across a variety of cloud environments based on predefined designs, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. You will work closely with IT teams to execute and integrate cloud infrastructure solutions that align with established designs.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Set Up and Configure Cloud Infrastructure: Establish, configure, and oversee virtual machines, storage solutions, networking, and databases across diverse cloud platforms to effectively support business applications.
• Implement and Oversee Cloud Resources: Deploy and manage critical cloud resources such as Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), Load Balancers, and Cloud Storage solutions to ensure efficient operations.
• Monitor and Troubleshoot Infrastructure: Continuously monitor the infrastructure, address issues, and maintain high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) configurations to guarantee dependable performance.
• Apply Security Measures: Implement and uphold security protocols to ensure cloud infrastructure adheres to organizational standards and industry regulations.
• Optimize Cloud Costs: Enhance cloud cost efficiency by right-sizing resources, developing cost-effective strategies, and analyzing usage patterns.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Cloud Services Proficiency: Familiarity with cloud services from providers like Oracle Cloud, Nutanix Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, among others, and expertise in Linux and VMware environments.
• Automation Tools Experience: Experience with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and native cloud automation services to streamline and automate processes.
• Cloud Migration Project Experience: Proven track record in cloud migration projects, focusing on implementation and execution with effective planning and delivery.
• Kubernetes Cluster Management: Skilled in managing Kubernetes clusters across various cloud environments to facilitate efficient container orchestration and scaling.
• DevOps Practices Knowledge: Understanding of DevOps methodologies, such as continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), particularly in relation to cloud infrastructure management.
