Infrastructure Engineering Senior Advisor

• Deliver infrastructure as code that has had automated end-to-end testing, documentation via published work & development processes & standards.
• Greatly reduce repetitive boring manual tasks so you can work on the fun challenging projects that advance efficiency and operational integrity of Cignas IT infrastructure.
• Prevent fat finger mistakes or other errors and revert configurations back to the last working configuration to restore network services as quickly as possible.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Selenium
• Understanding of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Design, implement and execute test cases for web applications.
• Experience with REST API testing
• Collaborate closely with developers to identify test requirements
• Identify and report bugs, ensuring proper follow-up.
• Work with the DevOps resource to integrate the tests into the CI/CD pipeline
• Perform functional testing, regression testing and smoke testing.
• Work with the team to improve process, practice and tools in support of SDLC
• Documenting the existing standards and develop designs to improve the efficiency of the automation testing.
• Work in an Agile framework, and will be part of the Scrum ceremonies like Sprint Planning, Daily Stand up, Sprint review and retrospective etc
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Jenkins/Linux/Django/Networking (protocols, routing, firewall rules, etc) experiences is a plus.

Required Experience & Education:

• 13-16 years of total experience required
• bachelors Degree (Business or Computer Science preferred) or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of Selenium
• 4+ years as SDET
• 4+ years of Python development experience
• Networking experience is a plus.
