Job Description:
- We are seeking a skilled Informatica Administrator with strong UNIX Linux expertise to manage support and optimize Informatica environments
- The ideal candidate will ensure high availability performance and reliability of ETL systems while supporting day to day operations deployments and troubleshooting
Key Responsibilities:
- Informatica Administration
- Install configure and administer Informatica PowerCenter BDM environments
- Manage Informatica domains repositories integration services and nodes
- Handle code deployment migration and release management across Dev QA and Production environments
- Monitor workflows sessions and logs to ensure successful execution
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL jobs performance bottlenecks and failures
- Perform patching upgrades backups and recovery of Informatica systems
- Implement and manage user roles security and access control policies
- Work with development teams for performance tuning and optimization
- UNIX Linux Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain UNIX Linux servers supporting Informatica platforms
- Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation and monitoring
- Monitor system performance CPU memory and disk usage
- Manage file systems permissions and batch processing jobs
- Schedule and monitor jobs using cron or enterprise schedulers
- Analyze logs and troubleshoot system level issues impacting Informatica workflows
- Provide production support and participate in on call rotations
- Collaborate with ETL developers DBAs and infrastructure teams
- Document system configurations processes and SOPs
- Ensure adherence to data security and governance standards
- Support incident problem and change management processes
Technical Requirements:
- trong experience in Informatica Administration PowerCenter BDM
- Solid knowledge of UNIX Linux systems
- Hands on expertise in Shell scripting
- Experience with job scheduling tools Autosys Control M cron
- Understanding of ETL and data warehousing concepts
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
