Job Overview:

• We are seeking a meticulous Informatica Administrator with proficient UNIX/Linux expertise to assist in the support and maintenance of Informatica environments.
• This position entails managing daily operations, overseeing deployments, monitoring, and troubleshooting, all while ensuring the seamless operation of ETL processes and data integration workflows.

Core Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and manage Informatica PowerCenter and BDM environments at a basic level.
• Administer domains, repositories, integration services, and application services.
• Facilitate code deployments and migrations across Development, Quality Assurance, and Production environments.
• Monitor workflows, sessions, and logs to guarantee successful job execution.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to ETL processes, performance, and failures.
• Conduct routine maintenance, including patching and upgrades.
• Establish user access and security roles within the Informatica platform.
• Perform UNIX/Linux system administration tasks in support of Informatica environments.
• Create and manage shell scripts for automation and monitoring purposes.
• Oversee system performance, processes, and resource utilization.
• Manage file system permissions and batch processing activities.
• Schedule and monitor jobs via cron or enterprise scheduling tools.
• Analyze logs and troubleshoot system-related challenges.
• Provide production support and engage in incident resolution efforts.
• Collaborate closely with ETL developers, database teams, and infrastructure teams.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and troubleshooting methods.
• Ensure compliance with data security and governance standards.
• Assist with performance tuning and optimization initiatives.

Technical Qualifications:

• Practical experience in Informatica Administration, specifically with PowerCenter and BDM.
• Strong familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments.
• Expertise in Shell scripting.
• Comprehension of ETL and data warehousing principles.
• Experience using job scheduling tools like Autosys, Control-M, and cron.
• Skilled in log analysis and effective troubleshooting techniques.
