Industrial Planning Lead

Your Future Role:

As an Industrial Planning Lead, you will take on a pivotal role in managing and optimizing industrial planning processes in a cutting-edge field. Working alongside a dedicated team, you'll manage the delicate balance between demand and resources to meet customer expectations for Quality, Cost, and Delivery while ensuring resource optimization at the site.

You will:

• Consolidate and Analyze Demand Forecasts: Ensure accuracy and completeness in demand forecasts, aligning them with business and project needs.
• Validate Project Needs and Supplier Lead Times: Ensure project requirements match available supplier lead times and address any discrepancies.
• Guarantee Up-to-Date Data in ERP/Core Planning Tools: Ensure our systems are always updated and aligned with the most current data.
• Participate in the SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) Cycle: Regularly contribute to reporting on KPIs and taking part in the SIOP cycle to align resources and forecasts.
• Build Production Plans: Use the 3M approach (Manpower, Materials, Machines) to construct robust production plans and get stakeholder commitment.
• Monitor and Escalate Production Plans: Keep track of production plans, identify potential bottlenecks, and contribute to escalation processes when needed to ensure smooth execution.

• Educational Qualification: Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE/B.Tech) or a related field.
• Experience or Understanding: Knowledge or experience in production planning or project management at a site level.
• Proficiency in Tools: Familiarity with SAP and advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project/Primavera.
• Demand Forecasting & Resource Optimization: Understanding of demand forecasting methods and resource optimization techniques.
