IND SENIOR, SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy highly scalable and robust cloud-based applications
• Build next-generation enterprise platforms supporting internal Walmart business functions
• Participate in architecture design, code reviews, and technical design discussions across teams
• Develop and maintain high-quality, production-grade code following engineering best practices
• Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to define requirements and priorities
• Translate business needs into technical solutions and deliver end-to-end software systems
• Perform software testing, debugging, and performance optimization before production release
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, performance, and security across applications
• Build software components for monitoring data sharing, access control, and security compliance
• Troubleshoot production issues and resolve system defects in high-pressure environments
• Improve system efficiency, automation, and observability continuously
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team capability building and hiring processes
• Promote engineering best practices including CI/CD, coding standards, and agile development
