IN | Oracle Financials Functional Consultant

Role Overview

• Support the implementation, configuration, and management of Oracle ERP Cloud Financials modules, ensuring high-quality functional delivery.

• Work closely with finance and business teams to provide guidance on financial processes, data structures, system design, and best practices.

• Contribute to the improvement of ERP processes, system performance, and reporting capabilities across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure Oracle Financials Cloud modules including GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Tax, Reporting, and analytics.

• Participate in ERP solution design, documentation, test script creation, and user testing activities.

• Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues/defects in testing and production environments.

• Develop financial reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc queries using Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI, Smart View, Essbase, and Financial Reporting Studio.

• Support colleagues in project execution, offering coaching and guidance in ERP methodologies and product specialization.

• Engage in coaching conversations to identify root causes of process or functional issues and propose sustainable solutions.

• Provide recommendations on ERP future-state landscape, including functional design, process improvement, and data model optimization.

• Offer functional support to Group Finance and Group Risk teams, leveraging strong knowledge of financial and controlling processes.

• Drive personal development in ERP capabilities, new tools, and best practices, fostering continuous learning and growth.

• Encourage innovation by identifying alternative approaches and improvements to current ERP processes.

• Demonstrate reliability, accountability, and effective teamwork across project and operational activities.

• Contribute to offshore delivery and support models, ensuring alignment with project and business needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.

• 5 to 7 years of experience as an Oracle ERP Cloud functional consultant with hands-on financial module configuration.

• Experience designing and implementing ERP solutions with strong involvement in testing and documentation.

• Proficiency in Oracle reporting tools including BI Publisher, OTBI, Smart View, Essbase, and Reporting Studio.

• Understanding of financial processes, controlling requirements, and ERP best practices.

• Experience working in offshore/onshore delivery models.

• Proficiency in English.
