Job Description
- Prepare and manage import documentation such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, and certificates of origin.
- The Import Assistant will be responsible for overseeing and managing the import operations for chemical products.
- Ensure all import activities comply with relevant customs regulations and requirements.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Communicate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents to coordinate the import process.
- Maintain accurate records of all import transactions and update relevant databases.
- Assist in managing inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock without overstocking.
- Generate reports related to import activities for management review.
