Role & responsibilities

1. Technical Assistant Roles:

• Plant Science/Biotechnology:Assisting scientists with field experiments, data collection, and research projects.
• Field/Plantation Crops:Supporting research in areas like crop management, data analysis, and field experiments.
• Medical Officer:Providing medical services to employees and pensioners at the CSIR-IHBT dispensary, including emergency care.

2. Scientist/Senior Scientist Roles:

• Ecosystem Services:Conducting research on ecosystem services, potentially involving valuation and other related studies.
• Plant Cell/Tissue Culture:Working on plant cell and tissue culture techniques, including large-scale production and bioreactor-based processes.
• Plant Molecular Biology:Research in areas like molecular biology, potentially involving genetic manipulation and other related studies.

3. Project-Based Roles:

• Project Associate: Supporting research projects, often involving data analysis, experimentation, and reporting.
• Project Scientist: Leading and conducting research projects in specific areas.

4. Other Roles:

• Knowledge Management: Managing and synthesizing information, including project planning, data analysis, and knowledge base development
